CHARLOTTE, NC – August 13, 2026 – Dr. Tamara Denis-Lewis has joined the ranks of internationally bestselling authors with the release of her new book, The Cry: How God Responds to the Crisis of Identity, Emotional Wellness, and Sexuality of Generation Alpha. Released August 11, 2026, the book reached #1 International Bestseller status on Amazon, connecting with parents, grandparents, educators, clergy, and others seeking biblical guidance for some of the most pressing issues facing today’s children.

Published and promoted by Elite Online Publishing, The Cry reached #1 bestseller status in five Amazon categories across the United States and Australia, including Christian Values & Virtues, Gender & Sexuality in Religious Studies, and Christian Youth Ministry. The book also ranked as a Hot New Release in seven categories across Amazon marketplaces in the United States, Australia, and Canada.

The achievement underscores the growing demand for resources that address the unique challenges facing Generation Alpha, the first generation to grow up entirely in a world shaped by smartphones, social media, constant connectivity, and rapidly changing cultural conversations about identity and sexuality.

ABOUT THE BOOK

The Cry by Dr Tamara Denis-LewisKids are asking questions that the Church has been too quiet to answer.

Identity. Emotional wellness. Sexuality. These are more than cultural buzzwords. They are issues shaping the everyday lives of today’s children.

Generation Alpha is growing up in a world flooded with information, technology, social media, and competing messages about who they are and who they should become. Their questions are becoming more complex, and their need for clarity, connection, and spiritual guidance is increasingly urgent.

The Cry seeks to answer that need.

While much has been written about Generation Z, Dr. Tamara Denis-Lewis turns her attention to the generation coming behind them. Generation Alpha has never known a world without screens, instant access to information, and digital influence. At the same time, young people are navigating anxiety, questions surrounding identity, emotional challenges, and exposure to complex issues involving sexuality at increasingly young ages.

In The Cry, Dr. Denis-Lewis draws upon Scripture, personal encounters with God, academic research, and real-life stories of transformation to help adults understand and respond to the challenges facing today’s children. Drawing on the life of Jesus, she explores how biblical practices can help children move beyond simply receiving information about faith to developing a meaningful relationship with Christ.

Readers will discover:

  • How to approach conversations about identity, emotional wellness, and sexuality from a biblical perspective
  • Ways to cultivate intimacy with God in a child’s daily life through biblical practices
  • True stories of young people who have faced difficult challenges and developed steadfast faith
  • Practical tools and spiritual insights for parents, grandparents, teachers, and clergy

With more than 30 years of experience in education and a Doctorate in Ministry, Dr. Denis-Lewis combines academic depth, firsthand classroom experience, and spiritual insight to address the challenges confronting today’s youngest generation.

The Cry is both a call to recognize what children are facing and an invitation for the adults who love and lead them to respond with wisdom, courage, faith, and compassion.

Don’t wait for the culture to disciple your child. Discover how God is responding to the cry of Generation Alpha and how He is calling you to respond, too.
