How long does it take to publish a book?

The length of time depends on where you are in the book process, whether you have a finished manuscript or in the development or editing phase. We like to tell our clients from the time we get finished edited the manuscript it takes about three to six months to publish your book.

 

How many books do I need to sell to become a bestseller?

We pride ourselves on making all of our authors – bestsellers by using a combination of strategies, including researching the right keywords, categories, timing, and launch strategy. Sales will vary depending on the niche and categories for your book.

 

Why is it important to be a Wall Street Journal, USA Today, or Amazon #1 Bestseller?

Bottom line: bestseller status is your stamp to the world that you’re an expert in your domain. This proof of expertise can give you new platforms to share your perspective (think: speaking, TV, podcasts, etc.), as well as the opportunity to charge more for your products and services. Bestseller status is your ticket to ensure you better reach your goals.

 

Do I get my input on the book cover?

We always collaborate with you on cover designs to ensure it suits the content and vision of your manuscript.

 

Do you edit my book?

The partnership between an author and editor is unique, and we edit your book depending on the publishing package you choose. You can decide to edit your book with your preferred editor or leverage our team of experts to make sure your book is professionally edited.

 

How are you different from traditional publishers?

Traditional publishers make their money by retaining rights and royalties to your book. We make our money by providing you with the services you need to take your book to market. That’s it. 100% of the book rights and royalties are yours. To learn more, check out our book:

Do I keep 100% royalties of my book?

YES! 100% – Elite Online Publishing takes absolutely nothing from your book sales! All you have to worry about is the print cost and the small amount that Amazon charges to produce and sell your books. On Amazon, authors receive 60% of their paperback royalties, and they pay authors 60 days after the end of the month in which your book generated sales. IngramSpark allows publishers to offer between a 30% and 55% wholesale discount to retailers, which will directly affect the royalty they make, and they pay authors 90 days after the end of the month in which your book generated sales.

 

Do I retain all the rights and royalties to my book?

Yes, you retain 100% of the rights and royalties to your book.

 

What is the total cost to work with you?

We offer a variety of publishing package options to fit your needs, ranging from $12,000 – $150,000.

 

What services will you provide as my publisher?

Depending on the package you choose, the services will vary. Please see our packages for more details on what is included.

 

Will I get book sales reports?

Yes, you will be set up with your own Amazon and IngramSpark accounts where you can directly see sales reports, author rankings, book setup & descriptions, reviews, and more.

 

What type of marketing will you do for my book?

How many authors and titles do you manage?

We work with around four clients per month. This allows us to give one-on-one attention to each client and each book launch.

 

Can I contact a couple of authors who have worked with you?

Do you work with every author that applies?

EOP is selective with who we work with. Authors can fill out our submission questionnaire and meet with one of our publishing coordinators to see if we are a good fit. We work with authors who share our vision to inspire, motivate, and educate, by telling stories that leave the world better than when we found it!
