Step 1. Download the Kindle app to your specific device (i.e. phone, tablet, desktop). The most Kindle-like experience is to read on a tablet, which allows for a kindred overall experience with things like portability, font size, and page layout.

Step 2. Log in with your Amazon account. This way, the books you purchase are directly linked, and will always appear on your devices that are logged in.

Step 3. To buy a book, you must exit the Kindle app and enter the Kindle Store (directly on Amazon). After you select “Buy Now With 1-Click” to complete the purchase, your book will automatically appear on your Kindle app.

Step 4. Open the Kindle app and grab that cup o’ joe. You can adjust the font size, typography style, and background color while you’re reading as well.
