Write Down Your Top 10 Things you are Grateful For Everyday

November 16, 2018

Do you have an Attitude of Gratitude?

This time of year everyone is reminded to be thankful and to GIVE THANKS for all of our many blessings.  We all have Thanksgiving traditions where we take one day to express our thanks and gratitude.  We challenge you to be grateful every day of the year.

Here at Elite Online Publishing, we want to say Thank You!  We are grateful for so many things in our lives.

There’s no write or wrong way to keep a gratitude journal, but here are a few tips to keep in mind and help you get started.

On the first page write ten things for which you feel grateful. Don’t skip the writing them down part, this physical action is important—don’t just do this exercise in your head. What you list can be relatively small in importance (“The sun was shining today”) or relatively large (“My Family will be celebrating a new life this week”). The goal of the exercise is to remember a good event, experience, person, or thing in your life—then enjoy the good emotions that come with it. As you practice this, each time it will get easier and easier.

Here are some of the rewards and reasons to do a Gratitude Journal:

  1. Gives you clarity on what you like and what works for you!

  2. Increases calm.

  3. Helps you focus on what really matters.

  4. Reduces stress.

  5. Can lift your mood on down days.

  6. BONUS! Private space for all your JOY!
