Tiny Leaps Big Changes With Gregg Clunis

January 14, 2019

Jenn Foster and Melanie Johnson speak with Gregg Clunis about how to crush your goals with Tiny Leaps and Big Changes. Your Goals Are Possible.

Gregg learned this lesson first hand when his parents decided to pack up everything they owned and move the family from the small island nation of Jamaica to the land of huge opportunity, the United States of America.

What happened over the next eighteen years of Gregg’s life served as a masterclass in how to take advantage of the opportunity, incredible possibilities that exist in life, and the sacrifices that are required to accomplish your goals.

This experience is the basis for his current life philosophy, a message he leaves his podcast listeners with at the end of every single episode:

“All big changes come from the tiny leaps you take every day.”

Show Notes-

  • Taking action is a big part of completing a goal.
  • Once you reduce your mental frictions you can complete your goals easier.
  • Many entrepreneurs can’t survive without taking actions with their goals.

Quotes-

“So many of the rules we  learn as entrepreneurs apply to our personal lives as well, if we are trying to manage our finances, if we’re dealing with tough relationships, all of these things can build mental systems and mental models for how you navigate these issues when they pop up over and over again.” (9:42)

“Figure out what it is you want, audit your current situation in relation to that end goal. So you can get a reality of understanding where you’re at, and then change your behavior.” (12:10)

“I noticed people conveniently forget that big change is part of it, they hear tiny leaps and they think, Oh, well, I should just pursue small change and my goal should be small.” (16:48)
