“We end up growing a business and we get to a certain stage and we’re burnt out and we’re like, wait, how did my business grow this way? I didn’t even want it this way.” (07:39)

“It’s hard to spread a message or help somebody spread a message…if the client has no idea what their message is or they fall into the trap of thinking it’s just a logo and it’s just some written words that we wrote down because that’s what we were supposed to do.” (14:42)

About Zach Colman:

Before establishing his business, Zach observed a recurring pattern at various workplaces he had been a part of. The lack of consideration towards customers, with the focus centered on making sales and maximizing profits, made him realize he wanted to create a place where customers wouldn’t feel as such, but as a community that is being heard and seen.

As a personal brand in the sports and athletics arena, he has a rapidly growing YouTube channel. He is the host of the #gymbreak podcast which features interviews with athletes, and athletic-driven brands and discusses hot topics in the sports and athletic space.

Based in Arizona, his company GymMark combines the athletic mindset around athletics and branding background to help athletic-driven brands, find their “why” brand themselves, increase their value to their audiences, and help gyms and athletic corporations increase their revenue by setting goals around a community for better profits.
